In response to this need, LaptopMag.com gives us a nice preview: a Wi-Max module to Acer Aspire One.

Those responsible for Laptopmag were able to prove at the XOHM Baltimore, at the invitation of Ben Wolff, CEO of Clearwire, a prototype of A1 with Intel Form W-Max.

In the original post you can see the video where the author of several test runs of connection speed, and above all the results are really not bad:

  • 6.7 Mb / s downlink
  • 2.8 Mb / s in uplink
  • Aperture of the page in 15 seconds NYTimes

While Acer comes from the official presentation of two Netbook series equipped with a form of Wi-Max, we wonder if the hardware will be the same and when dell'A1 will truly on the market.
